Brickwork

Brickwork refers to the construction or masonry work done using bricks as the primary building material. Bricks are rectangular blocks typically made of clay that are hardened by heat, though modern bricks can also be made from concrete or calcium silicate. Brickwork is one of the oldest and most common methods of building construction and is used in a wide range of structures, including houses, commercial buildings, walls, pavements, and fireplaces.

Brickwork involves laying bricks in various patterns and arrangements to create walls, partitions, arches, or other architectural elements. The process typically includes preparing the site, laying the bricks with mortar, leveling and aligning the bricks, cutting bricks as needed for custom shapes or sizes, and finishing the joints between bricks for strength and weatherproofing.
